![]() The CURL Control Jelly I used on freshly washed hair, as instructed, and again styled my hair in my go-to twist outs. You can buy this 120 ml/4 fl oz jar for $8.99 at Target. I’ll update this review once I’ve tried it. I’m thinking of mixing this with my favorite styling butter to see if it will add shine and hold to my twist outs. ![]() It smells just like blueberries and I caught a hint of the smell all day! The hold was pretty strong, I usually carry a little gel with me in case I need to re-slick during the day and I didn’t have to though I will note when I used it the next day it was particularly humid and I reapplied the gel once. Luckily, this gel absorbed into my hair easily leaving no residue and dried clear. In past experiences, gels have left a residue that dries and becomes tiny white flakes that are hard to dust out of my hair. I used the CURL Control Paste to slick back my edges after completing a twists for a twist out. I was sent two products from the line – the CURL Control Paste and CURL Control Jelly. You won’t know if something is for you unless you try. ![]() So when I interviewed Mahisha, founder of the product line Curls, and she suggested I try products from her new Blueberry Bliss line I was hesitant to deviate from my staples. I usually stay true to a styling product once I’ve found one that works wonders, especially since my hair is very fine and prefers products that are light and provide a firm hold.
